The Obstacle & Scope
YoungGates had an aging WordPress site with broken pages, layout misalignments, and no flexibility to scale — holding back a growing platform serving hundreds of students and parents across the Bay Area.
The Engineering Strategy
Nirmeva rebuilt the entire platform from scratch in Next.js and TypeScript, replacing the brittle WordPress setup with a fully custom, coded architecture. We integrated a PHP backend with MySQL, Stripe for subscription billing and class packages, JWT-secured teacher and parent portals, and SMTP automation for enrollment confirmations and schedule updates.
System Impact & Outcome
A fast, reliable platform that handles live class bookings, monthly subscriptions, and 1:1 session scheduling with zero overlap — built to grow with YoungGates as they expand across the Bay Area.
