The Obstacle & Scope
Olympiad World was running on a slow, rigid Drupal setup that couldn't keep up with the demands of an online exam platform — broken pages, sluggish load times, and no clean way to sell practice packages or workshops directly to students and parents.
The Engineering Strategy
Nirmeva rebuilt the platform from scratch in Next.js and TypeScript, replacing Drupal entirely with a fast, custom-coded architecture. We integrated a PHP backend with MySQL for exam and student data, Stripe for purchasing practice packages and workshop registrations, JWT-secured student portals, and SMTP automation for enrollment and result notifications.
System Impact & Outcome
A clean, fast platform where students across the US can browse competitions, purchase prep packages, register for workshops, and access their dashboard — all without the friction of the old Drupal site.
